In a herd of Cape Buffalo
A lone rhino...on the morning we left at 5 AM , six rhinos were asleep on the road leaving the camp. Our driver had to race the engine to stir them. After a bit they all rose and toddled off. Sorry, no pictures as we did not expect rhinos on the road when we traveled back to the airport.
This crocodile was fishing in the the rapid water of the river when we returned for the evening. He was laying with his mouth ajar while the water brought the fish through his teeth.
In the morning the impala had dparted our back lawn and were replaced with five water buck. Notice how they lay looking in all different directions to watch for cats.
I think this is a Nyala but it could a Kudu. After the morning game drive the water buck left and this guy showed up.
